WALKER COMPONENT GROUP

DISTRIBUTION

RoHS COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

As a distributor of electronic components, Walker Component Group must rely on our OEM partners to establish the RoHS compliance of components supplied to Walker Component Group. Many of our customers continue to require a supply of Non-RoHS Compliant products which mandates that Walker Component Group must be in a position to supply both RoHS compliant and Non RoHS compliant products. Processes and procedures are in place within Walker Component Group to identify products as to their compliance. In many cases our OEM partners have developed new part numbers which identify their components as RoHS compliant. In other cases components have either always been compliant or the components have been brought into compliance without a part number change, in these cases product will be identified on the WCG packing slip as being RoHS compliant.
Customers requiring only RoHS compliant products must identify that requirement at time of purchase. Walker Component Group sales will provide part numbers as requested by our customers, any request to cross from RoHS to Non RoHS must be stipulated when supplying part numbers to sales.
Walker Component Group is pleased to be an Authorized Distributor for our OEM partners and is in constant contact with those partners to provide product and information necessary to maintain control of RoHS requirements on those products. Products requested by our customers from vendors other than those for which we are an Authorized Distributor are the responsibility of the customer to provide specific part numbers which are known to be RoHS compliant.
