The 945U’s higher voltage, current ratings and package style allows it to replace aluminum electrolytic capacitors in DC Link applications that can use lower bus capacitance as is typically the case with inverters designed for wind energy, solar and fuel cell applications supplying the grid.  “The 945U uses the same package and terminal styles as screw terminal aluminum electrolytics making the transition from aluminum to film an easier one”.
